We wrote this in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to us and we'll explain. We don't sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising. We collect what we need to respond to you and to make the Site useful — and not much more.
Who we are
This policy applies to iagentlabs.com (the "Site"), operated by I Agent Labs Private Limited ("I Agent Labs," "we," "us," "our").
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary. For visitors located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we act as the Data Controller under the GDPR / UK GDPR.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Proposal request form: your name, email, phone (optional), budget range (optional), service interest, and the project description you write.
- Brochure download form: your email address.
We collect this because you've actively asked us to respond to you. The lawful basis is your consent under the DPDP Act, and contract performance / legitimate interest under the GDPR.
Information we capture as you browse
The Site includes a feature called the Session Receipt, which summarizes how you used the Site — total time, scroll depth, sections you spent time on, whether you used the calculator or FAQ search, and similar interaction signals. This data:
- Stays in your browser by default. We do not log it on our servers.
- Is sent to us only if you submit a form or download the brochure — in which case the session summary is attached so we can give you a more relevant reply.
- Is never used to track you across other websites.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is being used and tailoring our response to you.
A returning-visitor flag
We store a single value in your browser's local storage (named ial_visited) that simply tells the Site you've been here before, so we can change the welcome message. It contains no personal data and does not identify you. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.
What our service providers process
Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, which delivers the form data to our inbox. The AI-powered FAQ and project scoper features send your typed questions to our Cloudflare Worker, which forwards them to Groq's API for answer generation. We don't log AI queries on our servers, but we recommend not entering sensitive personal data into the AI fields.
Why we use your data
Only for the purposes listed below:
- To respond to your enquiry or proposal request
- To send you the brochure you requested
- To follow up on a project conversation you initiated
- To improve the Site by analysing aggregated, non-identifying patterns
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations
Who we share data with
- Web3Forms — form delivery infrastructure. Receives your form submissions to deliver them to our inbox.
- Cloudflare (worker hosting) and Groq (LLM inference) — process AI feature queries.
- Email and productivity providers we use internally to respond to you (such as Gmail / Google Workspace).
- Legal or regulatory authorities — only when required by law.
We do not transfer personal data outside India except through the processors above, all of whom are contractually obligated to protect your data and process it only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: up to 36 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
- Brochure download emails: up to 24 months.
- Session receipt data submitted with a form: retained alongside the form submission.
- Session receipt data not submitted: stays only in your browser; we never receive it.
Your rights
Whichever law applies to you (DPDP Act, GDPR, or UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Ask us what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw any consent you've given
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@iagentlabs.com with the subject "Privacy request." We respond within 30 days.
Grievance Officer
Per Section 10 of the DPDP Act, our Grievance Officer can be reached at:
Subject line: Grievance — Data Protection
We acknowledge grievances within 7 working days and respond within 30.
Children
The Site is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through the Site, write to us and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar tech
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or cross-site tracking. The Site uses one local-storage flag (described above) and the in-browser session receipt. No persistent cookies are set by us.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and (where appropriate) notify you by email if you've previously contacted us. The current version is always available at /privacy on the Site.
